Biography

Tonita Smith is the founder of “The Purpose Driven Woman, LLC.” She helps married and single women who desire to be married develop and maintain healthy relationships. She held her 1st annual Sold-Out Conference, “Real Women Talk,” February 2017. She is currently serving on active duty as a Public Health Nurse in the U.S. Army for the past 16 years.

She is the author of the book, “The Power of Shut-up Grace.” Tonita started a movement on Facebook called “The St. Louis Prayer Project” encouraging others to pray consisting for the youth and future generations; there are over 1,000 members currently which continues to increase daily.

She enjoys serving and mentoring young adults, and was recently awarded a grant funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation. The project titled, “Violence: A Prescription of Hope for a Vulnerable Population,” will benefit youth ages 10-17 years old.

She is sought out to mentor and inspire young girls on a variety of topics. She has had the pleasure of speaking with over 1,500 young women during several speaking events throughout the St. Louis area.
