Biography

Eve Rittenberg, MD is a primary care internist at the Brigham and Women's Hospital Fish Center for Women’s Health, and an Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School (HMS). She is a 2018 - 2021 Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholar. Her areas of interest include women’s health, trauma-informed care, medical education, and health equity. She is a member of the HMS TIC Curricular Theme Committee and the Mass General Brigham Trauma-Informed Care Initiative (MGB TICI), and she serves as co-chair of the MGB TICI Education and Training Committee. She co-directs an HMS interdisciplinary clinical elective in women's health and an annual HMS CME course in women's health. Her current work includes a clinical improvement project addressing work-life balance for women physicians. Her narrative medicine essays describing stories of trauma and resilience have been published in the New England Journal of Medicine and in Health Affairs.
