Biography

Colleen Smith is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Clinical Director for Newark Community Solutions where she oversees clinical operations for the program’s community court, youth court, and community-based initiatives. Ms. Smith has nearly a decade of experience working with justice-involved individuals in both custodial and community-based programs.

In addition to her work in the criminal justice system, Ms. Smith works with asylum-seekers and in social work education. She holds a Master’s Degree in Social Work from New York University and Bachelor’s Degree from McGill University.
