Biography

Audrey Darville is an Associate Professor in the College of Nursing at the University of Kentucky. Audrey has been a practicing Family Nurse Practitioner since 1998, with experience in a rural free clinic.

She is currently a Tobacco Treatment Specialist with the University of Kentucky and director of the BREATHE Tobacco Treatment Specialist online training program. As a Certified Tobacco Treatment Specialist, Audrey works with patients and employees to provide group and intensive individual tobacco dependence treatment.

As co-director of Tobacco Prevention and Treatment division of the Bridging Research Efforts and Advocacy Toward Healthy Environments (BREATHE) research group, she is engaged with the community and advocacy groups working on tobacco policy. She is a past president of the Association for the Treatment of Tobacco Use and Dependence (ATTUD).
