Biography

Natalie Ritchie, PhD is an Associate Research Scientist and health psychologist at Denver Health. She focuses on the prevention and management of type 2 diabetes, including strategies for behavior change and solutions to address inequity. As a first-generation college student, Dr. Ritchie received her doctorate from the University of Illinois at Chicago and completed postdoctoral training at Denver Health, where she has continued to practice and conduct research since 2010.

She has much experience in leadership roles on projects funded the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, National Institutes of Health, and Patient-Centered Outcomes Research Institute, among others. She is bilingual in Spanish and committed to promoting health for the Latinx community.
