Kajua Lor is a clinical pharmacist with a commitment to community engaged education, scholarship and health promotion. She is an Associate Professor and Founding Chair of the Clinical Sciences Department at the Medical College of Wisconsin School of Pharmacy. She practices as a clinical pharmacist at Sixteenth Street Clinic, a safety net clinic serving underserved Spanish-speaking populations. In 2012, Kajua was selected as a Programs to Increase Diversity among Individuals Engaged in Health-Related Research (PRIDE) Scholar. She has expertise in comparative effectiveness research and community engaged research. Her public health research interests include building a culture of health with immigrant/refugees, medication adherence, and complementary health. Kajua grew up in an immigrant refugee family and is the first in her family to pursue a doctorate degree. She is a native Hmong speaker with proficiency in Spanish.
