Diane Georgeson, MD

Dr. Diane Georgeson is a native of Oneonta, NY where she currently practices Gynecology and Transgender Medicine at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital. She received her BS at Bates College in Lewiston, Maine and her MD at the University of Vermont College of Medicine. She completed her internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Oregon Health Sciences University.

She was in private practice in OBGYN in Bend, Oregon for 12 years before returning to upstate NY in 1999. Since then she has worked for Bassett Healthcare, A.O. Fox Hospital, OBGYN Associates in Ithaca, NY and as an OB Hospitalist at Bellevue Women's Center Hospital in Schenectady, NY. In this latter role she was employed by OB Hospitalist Group and served as the team leader for the group at Bellevue. Additionally, she has served as Medical Staff President at Saint Charles Medical Center in Bend, Oregon and at A.O. Fox Memorial Hospital in Oneonta, NY. Dr. Georgeson is board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and a member of ACOG and WPATH. She is a past member of the Oneonta Centennial Committee, and a past board member of the Greater Oneonta Historical Society and the Future for Oneonta Foundation. She is a current member of the SUNY Oneonta College Council where she serves as the representative to the SUNY Association of College Trustees.
