Biography

Camlyn Masuda is an associate specialist at the University of Hawaii at Hilo Daniel K Inouye College of pharmacy and assistant clinical professor at the University of Hawaii at Manoa, John A Burns School of Medicine. She completed her doctorate of pharmacy degree from Oregon State University/Oregon Health Sciences University in 2006 and completed a general pharmacy practice residency at Kaiser Permanente/Health Plans in Hawaii a year later. Dr. Masuda is a certified diabetes care and education specialist and board certified in ambulatory care pharmacy. She precepts student pharmacists in their advanced pharmacy practice experiences in their fourth and final year of school in her pharmacy practice at the University Health Partners Family Medicine clinic, a University of Hawaii at Manoa, John A Burns School of Medicine, Family medicine residency clinic in Aiea, HI. Dr. Masuda's clinical interest include improving diabetes care and outcomes in underserved populations.
