Community Impact: Big Idea Talk

How do we help the helpers that help people in need?

Help Helpers Help Those in Need, a talk by Arnold James from team emPOWER NOLA.

In New Orleans, 1 in 5 children have witnessed a murder and over half of them have had someone close to them die by murder. Psychologist Arnold James shares the story of helping 16 year-old Josh through dark times. The emPOWER NOLA team developed a curriculum that is trauma-informed and culturally-based in order to help more helpers help people in need.

Join emPOWER NOLA in this work, and help helpers help those people in need.
